ENGINEER ARCHITECT / VISUAL ARTIST
Ghent University 2010
With Louis Vercaemst
The design consists of two residential volumes configured in a way to create interesting outdoor spaces; a public square (connecting the individual dwellings), a more enclosed square (linking both volumes) and private gardens. Louis and Jolien chose to keep the capricious wall, giving the enclosed square its special character, connecting neighbourhood’s old and new.
